Shipping Policy

AnimaLabs Genetic Solutions® (hereinafter: AGS) strongly recommends and will supply our customers with three complimentary cheek swabs in a DNA sampling kit for each animal tested. A kit includes instructions for optimal sample collection, Order Form, an optional Veterinary Verification Form, three swabs per animal, and a swab envelope. Customers have multiple purchase options for shipping, which are chosen in the web-shop.

Customers are required to return their swabs to our laboratory at their cost.
Shipping will not be refunded or credited once kits have been shipped.

AGS is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the various postal services.

If DNA testing cannot be conducted on the submitted Sample, AGS will contact the Client and request a new Sample and delivery thereof. The first repeated sending of the DNA collection kit is carried out at no cost to the Client, at lowest price shipping option available at AGS website. If the subsequently submitted sample is not usable, each subsequent sending of the kit is charged according to the current price list.

International Orders (outside the EU)

We highly recommend that you use an international courier that will provide you with a tracking number.

We also recommend sending any package as a priority so we can receive it in a timely manner. If samples are sent by regular mail, it may take up to 4 weeks for us to receive your sample and may cause samples to be compromised.

Please send this tracking number to us so that we can also track your package. AGS is not able to accept weekend deliveries.
Since some international deliveries (especially from the US) require this data, here are some key items to complete on your Commercial Invoice:

Description of Goods should be: Non-restricted, non-infectious animal DNA sample.
Declared value should be no more than 1€.
Include the HS code: 3002 9090 90 on the commercial/pro-forma invoice.
The value that you declare on your shipment's US Customs form should not total more than 1€; the value of the swabs themselves, not the price of your order.

This will make it easier to get your shipment through customs, and there should not be any duties or taxes applied. If there are any Collect on Delivery (COD) fees associated with your package, AGS will contact you to find a suitable form of payment. Sample processing will be delayed until all outstanding balances are paid.
