IG is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of personal and sensitive data obtained in connection with the provision of laboratory testing services. This Privacy and Confidentiality Policy explains how personal and confidential data are collected, processed, stored, used, and protected when customers place orders, submit samples, and receive laboratory results through the AGS platform.

IG collects and processes personal data exclusively for the purposes of receiving and processing orders, performing laboratory testing services, issuing test results and reports, communicating with customers, fulfilling contractual obligations established through webshop orders, and complying with applicable legal requirements. Personal data may include identification and contact details of customers, order-related information, sample identifiers, test results, reports, and any other data necessary for the proper performance of laboratory services.

All information obtained in connection with laboratory services, including customer data, samples, test results, reports, and related documentation, is considered strictly confidential. Such information is used solely for the purpose for which it was collected and is not disclosed to unauthorized persons. Access to confidential data is restricted to authorized personnel only and granted strictly on a need-to-know basis.

The contractual relationship between IG and the customer is established through an order placed via the online shop on the AGS website. By completing an order, the customer accepts the applicable terms and conditions governing laboratory services, of which this Privacy and Confidentiality Policy forms an integral part.

Personal and laboratory data are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill contractual obligations and applicable legal requirements. Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, data are securely deleted or anonymized in a manner that prevents further identification.

Responsibility for the implementation and oversight of this Privacy and Confidentiality Policy lies with IG. All personnel involved in the provision of laboratory services are informed of their confidentiality obligations and are required to comply with this policy at all times.

IG reserves the right to amend this Privacy and Confidentiality Policy. Any updated version will be published on the website and shall apply from the date of publication.
