Sending genetic samples to AnimaLabs is designed to be as straightforward as possible, whether you are within the EU, from America or elsewhere. We offer flexible shipping and return options to ensure your samples arrive safely and quickly.

Step 1: Choose Your Shipping Method for the DNA Collection Kit

When placing your order, you can select one of the following shipping options for receiving your DNA collection kit:

• Priority Mail (10€): A budget-friendly option. Delivery takes about 5 business days within the EU, UK, and up to 13 business days for other destinations.
• DHL Express (25€): For a faster and more reliable delivery, choose DHL with next day delivery. Delivery by DHL is arranged by us.

For larger orders, we offer free shipping on all purchases over 300€, ensuring that the client receives priority service at no extra cost.

Step 2: Sending Your Samples Back to AnimaLabs

Once you've collected your sample, you’ll need to return it to us. You can choose between:

• Standard Post: This is a cost-effective option but may take longer depending on your location, especially for international shipments. While it saves on costs, it is not ideal for time-sensitive results.
• Note: We do not recommend putting a high price on the package of the kit due to potential difficulties with customs, we recommend you put a value of €1,  
• DHL Express (25€): The recommended choice for those who prefer speed and reliability. DHL ensures that your samples reach us within a few days, which is especially valuable for urgent or important testing.

Both methods are available, but remember that using DHL incurs a 25€ fee for each direction.

Samples arrive to our laboratory within just a few business days, offering peace of mind with tracking and guaranteed delivery timelines. While the standard post is more economical, it can be subject to delays, particularly when shipping internationally. DHL ensures a smooth and rapid process, avoiding potential customs delays.

International Customers Outside the EU

If you are shipping samples from outside the EU, it’s important to consider customs requirements and potential delays. DHL helps expedite the process through its well-established global logistics network. Standard postal services are still a viable option but may experience longer transit times. Whichever method you choose, we recommend using a tracked service for added security.

To ensure your samples arrive in perfect condition, make sure they are securely packaged. AnimaLabs provides all necessary instructions on proper sample collection and labelling. Use a sturdy envelope or box to prevent damage, and include all required documentation. This helps ensure the integrity of the sample and avoids delays.

Track Your Shipment

Whether you choose Priority Mail or DHL, we recommend tracking your shipment. For standard post, ask your postal service for a tracking number. If you choose DHL, tracking is included, allowing you to monitor the progress of your package in real-time.
